It serves as a central repository for many models, including those for text generation, classification, translation, question answering, and more tasks.

How to connect

• Create an account in Huggingface.
• Go to your Profile - Settings - Access Tokens.
• Generate and copy the API Key.
• On the VSCode CodeGPT Extension, change the model on the chat.

• Pick the LLMs Cloud model and select Huggingface as Provider.

• Select a model such as Qwen/Qwen2.5-1.5B-Instruct.

• Paste API Key here, and click on Connect

• Click outside the options and ask to chat.

  

Remove or edit Key

To remove your API Key from CodeGPT, click on Change connection settings button.
